This is actually the set of the 2005 Steven Spielberg movie, "War of the Worlds", starring Tom Cruise. This is part of the tram tour at Universal Studios. This is just one portion of the set. It was a frightening scene and surreal at the same time. The scale and the attention to detail (that's a real plane btw) was impeccable and just mind-blowing.

nous sommes enfin arriv? ? notre d?stination premi?re, le "Intrepid Sea-air-space museum". Bon, ca en jette, mais le mus?e ne contient en tout et pour tout qu'un avion supersonique, un porte-avion et un sous-marin.

Ok, j'arr?te d'?tre blas?, ce fut ?noooooorme! M?me si le voyage ne valait pas la tourn?e d'adieu du Cl?menceau (Oui, y'en a qu'on la classe...), ce fut tr?s instructif et toujours int?ressant de visiter les appartement de l'amiral, les quartiers des matelots et, comme sur la photos, le pont d'envol parcel? de machines de guerre (v?ritables!) donn?es ou pr?t?es par les plus grande puissance mondiale. on y croise par exemple, un mirage d'entrainement de l'arm?e fran?aise, "l'avion de Tom Cruise dans Top Gun" ou un kfir isra?lien.

Autant vous dire que la fouille a l'entr?e ?tait moins plaisante que celle d'un a?roport russe :-S

My favorite movie! I absolutely love Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in this movie. It's the best vampire movie I own (beside Twilight, and Underworld, etc etc.).
